The new habitat for humanity is opened in Derry's Lisnagelvin shopping center

Habitat for Humanity officially opened his restoration of the social enterprise on Thursday, September 18. The opening event brought together employees, volunteers and supporters to celebrate the new company.

The shop and donation center is open from Monday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the 13c Lisnagelvin, Derry unit.

Habitat for Humanity Ireland brought Derry to restore with the aim of building sustainable communities and fighting poverty directly. The business sells donated new and used building materials and household improvement materials.

A spokesman for Habitat for Humanity said that restoration enables the locals to improve their houses at low costs, offers skills and employment skills for people of all ages and in the background and derives a lot of reusable waste from landfills.

Jenny Williams, Chief Executive of Habitat, said: “Every year the six recovery all over Ireland make a difference for the locals, communities and the planet. It has long been part of our strategy to start restoring in the northwest. We are pleased to open the restoration of Habitat in Lisnagelvin and gratefully received for the greeting that we received.”

“Restore is a unique workplace that brings people of all ages and in the background where everyone has something to give and has something to win so that I would encourage the locals to get involved with volunteer work.”

“Everything we sell is donated so that the support of companies, organizations and individuals for the success of restoration is of crucial importance. You can see in use that we have a wide range of DIY and house improvement materials at low costs.”
