This number consisted of 2,500 properties in the Republic of Ireland and around 100 in Northern Ireland.
At the peak, the storm caused hundreds of thousands of people to loss of care.
Alex Houston, manager of NIE Networks, said: “The last remaining customers will be connected again tomorrow and the crews will be diverted to these areas to ensure that this is done.
“We would like to thank them for their patience, while our crews worked through the damage caused by the strong winds.
“I would also like to thank our teams and contractual partners who stood for a long time at the weekend and worked for a long time to ensure that the electricity can be restored as quickly as possible.”
