Sustainable House Day is an annual event that offers you the opportunity to explore some of the most inspiring and environmentally friendly houses in Australia. You will hear directly from the people designed, built and live in them.

Regardless of whether you build a new home, renovate or just look for tips, for everyone.

Presentation and panel discussion

Visit an evening for the construction of sustainable houses in Boroondara. The architect and heritanist, Ruth Redden, will share:

  • Integrate tips on the inclusion of sustainability into your cultural heritage
  • Advice for the construction of a passive house.

There will be a question and response meeting with 4 Boroondara residents, whose houses are presented a sustainable house a day. You will offer real examples and experiences with sustainable house design and renovation.

This free event will take place on Thursday, May 22nd at 6 p.m. in the Hawthorn Arts Center.
