The German B2B -Tech company Unchained Robotics has completed an extended round of finance of 8.5 million euros, which is supported by Direttissima growth partners, Navivo Capital, Future Industry Ventures, Vent.io and D11Z.
With fresh capital, the company wants to scale its technology internationally and deal with one of the greatest hurdles in automation: simply operating robots with intelligent software.
Automation is often complex, expensive and difficult to adapt in existing processes. Robots usually have to be programmed manually, often weeks until they are in operation. This is a big barrier for many smaller companies. Unchained Robotics changes that.
With its software luna operating system, Unchained Robotics has launched a standardized control system that integrates robots from various manufacturers in production environments -like an operating system for factory robots that are easy to use as a smartphone. This means that everyone can operate the robots without prior experience.
Click here to automate – no experience required
The Unchained Robotics online platform enables companies to find, find and integrate the right robots directly into their production lines.
Regardless of whether it is a palletization or packaging – the company also offers a flexible turnkey solution called Malocherbot, which can be used without specialized knowledge. It is not only ideal for large companies, but also for small and medium -sized companies with limited resources.
Maden Milicevic, co-founder, says: “We have made a chord with SMEs: Everyone is looking for simple and affordable automation solutions that can be implemented quickly without needing special know-how.”
More than 300 companies across Europe are already using the solution to the solutions such as Vorwerk, Europe's largest direct sales company.
Joern Completassass, Managing Director of Vorwerk Logistik, says: “Unchained Robotics' solution made it possible for us to quickly and easily get additional programming knowledge or long importance.”
Entry into the US market: First big partnership with Albéa
In addition to its presence in Europe, Unchained Robotics accelerates its expansion to the United States. At several locations, the company starts its first large -scale automation partnership with the Albéa Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers of cosmetic packaging.
Automation includes packaging and palletization – with the aim of achieving the efficiency of Opex and increasing the scalability of local processes. More than 20 robots have already been used in factories, with plans to increase this number to around 70 in the future.
The United States is known for its openness to the technology, but many companies lack a lack of automation experts. Unchained Robotics offers a strong demand – with additional industrial partnerships already in preparation.
The company is now driving its next growth phase: establishing a global robotic standard.
“Unchained Robotics solves one of the most important structural problems in the industry: the lack of standardization. With its operating system Luna OS and the modular painting bot cell, robot automation becomes easy to scalable -a decisive step for the future of manufacturing and logistics logistics,” says Christopher Hoffmann from Direttissima growth partners, investors in current financing.
Robotics as a solution to the global lack of work
The market for simple, standardized automation is growing quickly. According to a study by Stepstone, around 3.7 million workers will leave the German labor market by 2030. Automation is of essential importance for competitive companies – especially in manual tasks such as mechanical loads and palletization.
At the same time, the connection between AI and physical robotics is progressing.
Kevin Freise, co-founder of Unchained Robotics, says: “We imagine a future that with which AI-driven robot systems not only take on repeating tasks, but also increasingly can be adapted through continuous learning. Luna OS forms the decisive bridge between intelligent software and physical automation for this purpose.”
Unchained Robotics became one of the 50 most promising startups in Germany and one of the 250 most fastest growing startups in Europe from Tech Magazine.
