From Friday, an additional step for homeowners and contractors will be required and need roof work in Oklahoma City. According to city officials, approval is now required before a project can even start.

How can a person receive a Reroof approval?
Residents and contractors can apply for a roof permit online at OKC.GOV/Access or visit the personal business center of the city on the first floor of 420 W. Main. The permits are issued on the same day and cost $ 94.50.
When will inspections take place?
The inspection takes place after the roof is installed and the city will come out at the request of the contractor.
