Hyderabad: Whizzy Logistics on Sunday launched 200 new electrical deliveries with a large milestone in its commitment to a 100 percent electric fleet by 2030.
Whizzy works in 36 cities all over India, has a delivery of almost every second in the Quick Commerce Last Mile Delivery segment segment. With an existing basis of 5,000 delivery drivers, Whizzy plans to scale to 15,000 drivers until next year, with all new additions to be fully electrical.
Whizzy is a startup based in Hyderabad, which has grown from a one-city company to 36 cities, said Ravi Chander Reddy Bathi, founder and CEO of Whizzy Logistics. The company's roadmap for complete fleet electrification is both a strategic and a sustainable jump and plans to pass 70-80 percent of its current fleet in EVS.
Jayesh Ranjan, Minister of Special Minister I & C, and IT, who launched the start, said: “Telangana is at the forefront of the Indian mobility revolution. Companies such as Whizzy, who actively electrify their delivery fleets, embody the spirit of our EV segregation from 2030, which are scalable and included.”
