
Anantnag, June 21: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said that his party would shift the Supreme Court if the restoration of statehood after Jammu and Kashmir was excessively delayed.
“After the elections, people wanted their problems to be solved immediately, but statehood (not restored) stops us. They have many demands on how they want (National Conference MLA Altaf Kaloo) become a minister, but as possible until the state of the state in the area of the coker in the area of the Kokern -Kashmire meets again.
“We are waiting, but if you (middle) take a long time, we will have no choice but to go to the Supreme Court,” said Abdullah.
“I hope that we will get all the strength when restoring statehood,” he added.
The President of the National Conference commented on the conflict of the Israel Iran conflict and prayed to God to give the two countries a meaning to stop war.
“I pray that God makes sense both Israel and Iran and (Donald) Trump also makes sense, also so that he talks about peace and not about war. The problems can only be solved peacefully and nothing will be achieved without peace,” he said.
Abdullah spoke in front of his party workers and referred to the Pahangam attack on April 22nd that the attackers had managed to reach Baisaran and to carry out the attack despite the presence of as many security forces and technologies such as drones.
“You (center) said we ended the militan here. Where did you come from (Pahangam attacker)? We have so many forces, so many drones, etc. Where did these four (attackers) come from?” asked Abdullah.
“We couldn't find them until yet. We say that we are now a mighty nation and there is no match for us, but we cannot find these four,” he said.
26 people, mainly tourists, were killed in Pahalgam's terrorist attack.
