The temporary seats that were set up along the way from Toy Story Land to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was removed when the construction of a new covered seating area near Woody's lunch box continues.

The seating area in Woody's lunch box was unexpectedly demolished in September 2024. Limited, temporary seats were right in front of the planters and on the way between Toy Story Land and Galaxy's Edge. The former is now missing and the path is now free of guests from guests, the dead chos and grilled cheese -sandwiches.

The Woody's lunch box has remained in operation during the building, so that the temporary seating outside of the planter walls that separate the work from the guest areas is necessary.

One of the main complaints about Toy Story Land was the lack of shadows and seating – especially in the Woodys lunch box. Until Roterup Rodeo BBQ was opened in 2023, Woody's lunch box was the only restaurant in the country and had no covered seating.
While the renovation was unannounced and the final details were shared, it seems that the Disney started in January 2022 when a project was installed as an awning over a small section in the back of the outdoor stool restaurant.

The shadow structure is still available, even though they are behind planters. Additional poles have also been built because Disney may add additional shadows or new lighting.

The poles are wrapped in blue and bureaucracy and have exposed the cabling from the upper and side.

Two new poles were also added to the construction area. The area was initially torn down nothing more than a dirt patch, but has reopened some seats on a new sidewalk. For more information and updates, see our last construction update and are looking forward to future updates!
