Some air conditioning systems could be fully banned for Americans as part of a rule introduced a few years ago.

The use of certain gases in refrigerators and air conditioning systems, which was completed by the former administration of former President Joe Biden in 2023, was restricted when the US environmental protection authority (EPA) found that they contributed to ozone development.
These gases are hydrofluoric coal fabrics (HFCs) that have been used in cooling and cooling for years, but are strong pollutants, according to Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC).

Since the completion of the rule in 2023, there has been a nationwide lack of refrigerants, and an outstanding new newer than 454b did not work with older alternating current systems.
