Washington Court House, Ohio – The Yusa Corporation in Fayette County received $ 1,087,874 from the Ohio Department of Development via the Advanced Energy Fund, said the state representative Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) on Tuesday.
Funding will support the improvement of energy efficiency in the establishment of Yusa, including repairs to compressed air leaks, exchange of HLK units and upgrades in air conditioning systems. The project is intended to reduce the annual supply costs by 15.5 percent.
“I am looking forward to the Yusa Corporation and the improvements that you will now do for your business,” said Peterson in an explanation. “These energy savings will enable you to continue to be industry leaders and grow in Fayette County.”
The Advanced Energy Fund aims to promote projects on energy efficiency and renewable energies all over Ohio and to support companies in reducing costs and improving sustainability.
The Yusa Corporation, an important employer in the region, is expected to use the upgrades to strengthen its business and maintain its competitive advantage in the industry.
